Background & 2010 Tour

Living in the Fire of Change: Sacred Action & Social Transformation....was cofounded by James O'Dea and Mali Leach to create a new kind of conference and forum--one that engages all gathered and that reflects the truth that we each hold a unique key to the collective change.

It's a two-part project: first, the conference itself; second, an ongoing community collaborative "town hall" that continues and sustains long after the conference has come and gone. The conference team has developed a manual to share out with communities based on the Whole Systems model and Conscious Evolutionary work of Barbara Marx Hubbard and John Zwerver, and with the insights and tools that Andrew Harvey provides via his lifelong dedication to Sacred Activism and most recently his astonishingly important new book, The Hope. This local forum also derives materials from James O'Dea's upcoming book on Creative Stress and his teachings and observations from his lifetime of work in service to humanity.
